Abstract

Abstract The present study analysed India's GDP growth rate in relation to GDP growth rate of major Economies of the World. These major economies are, UK,USA, China, Germany, Italy and France. The objectives is to study the association of India's GDP growth rate with the GDP growth rates of other countries and to measure the significance of correlation coefficient between the growth rates of other countries with India. To analyse the association of India's GDP growth rate with the GDP growth rate of major Economies the data from 1991 to 2021 has been taken. It has been analysed by using SPSS software. The data has been taken from the World Bank for analysis. India’s GDP growth rate has been found to have the highest association with the growth rate of the UK and has the least association with the growth rate of Germany. The correlation coefficient between India's GDP growth rate and UK's GDP growth rate is .687 which is significant at 0.01 level at df = 29. The correlation coefficient between India's GDP growth rate and Germany's GDP growth rate is. 321 which is not significant.
